Seattle, WA (SportsNetwork. Wholesale NHL Jerseys .com) - A battle between a pair of six-win programs is on deck at Alaska Airlines Arena on Sunday, as the Washington Huskies play host to the 13th-ranked San Diego State Aztecs in non-conference action. Playing at home for just the second time this season, the Huskies still own an unblemished record after six outings. Off to a 6-0 start for the first time since the 2006-07 campaign, Washington most recently defeated UTEP (68-65) a week ago as part of the Wooden Legacy at the Honda Center in Anaheim. As for the Aztecs, they rattled off five straight wins to begin the campaign before taking a fall against third-ranked Arizona (61-59) on Nov. 26. Coincidentally, the Wildcats are the same squad that took down SDSU for its first loss of the season in 2013-14 and came back to end an NCAA Tournament run by the Aztecs in March as well. The Huskies have taken two of the previous three meetings in the series with SDSU, although the Aztecs won the most recent encounter last season around this time by a score of 70-63 at home. After the defeat at the hands of Arizona, San Diego State did rebound with a 57-48 triumph over local foe San Diego on Thursday night at Viejas Arena. The Aztecs scored the first eight points of the game against visiting San Diego and never looked back, although the final score was much too close for comfort given the talent on both sides. Dwayne Polee II led the hosts with 14 points, hitting both of his 3-point tries, followed by JJ OBrien and Trey Kell with 13 and 10 points, respectively. SDSU held the Toreros to just 19 points in the first half but then appeared somewhat lethargic coming out of the break. Once again, what the Aztecs pride themselves on more than anything is their defense, a unit that is holding opponents to just 55.3 ppg on 35.1 percent shooting from the field and a paltry 28.6 percent behind the 3-point line. It also helps that SDSU is forcing close to 16 turnovers per contest, given that the offense is far from explosive with just 66.4 ppg. Leading the way at the offensive end of the floor for the Aztecs is Winston Shepard and Polee with 10.7 and 10.1 ppg, respectively. However, both shoot below 68 percent at the free-throw line for a squad hitting a disappointing 62.9 percent at the charity stripe. Washington watched a 13-point, first-half lead against the Miners not only evaporate in the last outing, the Huskies also found themselves trailing by four points with less than four minutes to play in regulation as well. However, Washington was able to battle back and outscore UTEP by seven down the stretch in order to claim the three-point win in the Golden State. In a game that featured six ties and just as many lead changes, Andrew Andrews scored 20 points for the Huskies as he knocked down 4-of-7 behind the 3-point line, followed by Nigel Williams-Goss and Jernard Jarreau with 16 and 10 points, respectively, the latter adding eight rebounds to pace his team in that category. Williams-Goss may be shooting only 20.0 percent behind the 3-point line these days, but he is still the leading scorer for the Huskies with his 14.7 ppg. In addition, he is more than willing to do whatever it takes to get Washington into the win column as he also adds 5.5 rpg and is first on the unit with 7.5 apg as well. Andrews pitches in with 12.5 ppg and Shawn Kemp Jr. adds another 10.3 ppg to an attack that generates 73.7 ppg. Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys . 98 jersey in a game yet, and already its a big seller. Jean-Gabriel Pageau and Buddy Robinson scored 43 seconds apart in the second period to lead the Binghamton Senators to a 4-1 victory over the Bulldogs in American Hockey League action Friday night at the Bell Centre. http://www.cheapjerseysauthenticnhl.com/ . Bjoerndalen, who had failed to win any major race for two years before Sochi, writes in a Facebook entry that he is "full of energy and inspiration" after winning the 10-kilometre sprint and mixed relay at last months Olympics.ST. LOUIS -- For six innings, Matt Garza was in top form. Then he tweaked a left oblique and it all fell apart for the Milwaukee Brewers. The Brewers bullpen quickly surrendered a two-run lead that had once seemed so secure in a 3-2 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday. "It was bad enough where I had to take myself out of the game and I dont do that," Garza said. "Theres too much left in the season and I thought Id make the smart play." Manager Ron Roenicke said Garza will be examined on Monday after feeling his side grab on one of his final pitches. "He couldnt keep going," Roenicke said. "Great game, great fastball. He had a lot working." Garza said he had a similar injury last spring. "I hadnt even thought of it and it just happened, and you try and think of what you did," Garza said. "It felt like a muscle grab, and it was one of those, and son of a gun." John Lackey won his St. Louis debut when the Cardinals rallied for three runs in the seventh inning, capped by a go-ahead from rookie Oscar Taveras. The Cardinals took two of three from NL Central-leading Milwaukee and pulled within one game of the division lead. "We played a good ballgame," Roenicke said. "Got a couple of runs of Lackey and put up some zeroes and you feel pretty good about the game. "It didnt work out." Lackey (1-0) was the Cardinals big catch at the trade deadline that capitalized on Bostons sell-off. The right-hander won the clinching Game 6 of the World Series against St. Louis last fall allowed two runs and seven hits in seven innings and is 12-7 overall. Trevor Rosenthal struck out Carlos Gomez with two on for his major league-leading 34th save in 38 chances. Matt Holliday homered off Zach Duke with one out in the seventh. Recently acquired A.J. Pierzynski hit a tying single off Jeremy Jeffress (0-1) and Taveras sinngled up the middle. Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China. Aramis Ramirez had an RBI single in the first for Milwaukee, his seventh hit of the series, and Mark Reynolds hit his 19th homer in the second. Lyle Overbay pinch-hit for Garza in the seventh with two outs, a runner on first and the Brewers up 2-0. Garza had been coming up the dugout steps, but Roenicke said the pitcher hadnt heard him say he was coming out. "When youre talking about obliques, you cant go out there," Roenicke said. Overbay singled, raising his career average to .364 against Lackey, but Gomez popped up. Garza was out after just 71 pitches, and the Brewers bullpen quickly surrendered the lead. Garza needed just 38 pitches and faced the minimum the first four innings. He went to a full count for the first time against Matt Adams, who doubled leading off the fifth. TRAINERS ROOM Brewers: Second baseman Scooter Gennett and shortstop Jean Segura did not start, both nursing sore quads. Gennett struck out pinch-hitting in the ninth. Cardinals: Outfielder Jon Jay missed his fifth straight start with a sore wrist from a checked swing in San Diego. He had to be extra disappointed, given hes 8 for 13 with a homer against Garza. UP NEXT Brewers: Milwaukee awaits the Giants, with Jimmy Nelson (1-2, 4.30) facing Tim Lincecum (9-7, 4.21) on Tuesday at Miller Park. Cardinals: After an off-day, the Cardinals host Boston for a three-game series beginning Tuesday night. On Wednesday, Shelby Miller (8-8, 4.14) faces ex-teammate and close friend Joe Kelly (2-2, 4.37), who was traded to Boston in the Lackey trade. Miller and Kelly were the best man in each others wedding. NUMBERS GAME Ramirez is batting .522 (12 for 23) during a six-game hitting streak. Hes batting .459 (17 for 37) against the Cardinals this year with two homers and nine RBIs. He has 37 homers and 139 RBIs against St. Louis, most among active players. ' ' '
